Bush praised the Asian for leading the world out of the financial crisis

Former U.S. President George W. Bush today praised the Asia out of the global economic crisis played a positive role, while warning of trade protectionism is likely to rise.

 George W. Bush attended the Seoul World Knowledge Forum. He delivered a speech at the conference said, “One thing is certain, namely, to lead the world out of the Asian economies, the economic crisis. This is an amazing ssertion.”

 

 Bush said the global economic crisis, China and Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Japan and Thailand have adopted a series of “smart economic stimulus policy,” a positive response, performed well. He believes that the current world economic situation has gradually improved, and he made “optimistic.” At the same time, he believed that Asian economies will grow to become the promotion of “a powerful driving force of future economic growth.”

 

 At the same time, Bush expressed deep concern about trade protectionism, and warned people to guard against protectionism trend. He said that in difficult economic times, trade barriers, easier to produce. He believes that free trade is to stimulate economic growth and solve the problem of global poverty, “the best way.”

 

 Bush also reiterated its support for himself during his tenure, the United States and South Korea, Panama signed a free trade agreement. However, the report pointed out that these agreements have not yet been approved by the U.S. Congress.

 

 Bush believes the United States should continue to participate in Asia’s affairs. He claimed, and like China, Japan and South Korea, Asian countries such as the development of bilateral relations is to ensure that “the core of U.S. security.” He believed that the United States to develop bilateral relations with countries in the Far East will enable the United States to continue to “play an active role.”
